Two Double En-suite Rooms

We have two double en-suite rooms, one in the original toll house end of the farmhouse with a walk-in power shower and gorgeous views of Dartmoor. The rooms are spacious, the larger one has a double bed, a single bed and a cot intended to give a couple or a family comfortable accommodation and has an ensuite bathroom.

 

 

Healthy Organic Local Food

We love offering our guests really healthy, organic (wherever possible) and locally sourced food. We grow lots of our own vegetables, fruit and flowers for the table and our hens provide huge, bright yellow yolked eggs!

 

 

 

A Beautiful Location

Our family home has evolved and grown to combine into a relaxing and characterful bed and breakfast set in the beautiful rural, rolling green hills of the South Hams with distant views of Dartmoor.

We have a large garden with flower borders, granite troughs, apple trees and a large vegetable patch. If you feel like a stroll nearby are walks down a little lane to a pretty bridge or across the road to a hidden lake. From the tollhouse room you can often awake to the valley shrouded in mist with trees emerging before the sun breaks through. At night there are clear starlight skies.

Facilities

We have all the usual amenities: wifi throughout, good mobile coverage, safe free parking, tvs and tea/coffee trays.

 

Breakfast in Our Conservatory

We serve breakfast in our conservatory dining room overlooking the garden and rolling countryside. Just let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.

We offer traditional and some healthy options for breakfast. How about trying some of Kate’s beautifully nutritious juices and smoothies as an alternative breakfast? Made from organic and local products wherever possible. Kate also offers the opportunity of Super Juice Detox Retreats.  Sometimes a simpler approach to health gives the best results and reducing refined /convenience foods and your stress levels can be an absolute pleasure. Sandwell Farmhouse is a great place to turn over a new leaf!
